My first time offshore/nearshore in my boat. Had some excitement at the Charleston 60. Was reeling a black sea bass and had a barracuda go ballistic .

Fun to watch video! ! I never understood why they never jump when they’re hooked up trolling , but still fishing they jump all over the ocean! Once I was on a boat and a guy hooked one up next to the boat. He set the hook quickly and the cuda jumped right into the boat teeth first and tore the guys arm up. Evil critters . Let them get away from the boat before you set the hook !
