I quick released the 2nd one we caught. Was trying not to gaff it and he bit on thinner wahoo wire and I had no gloves on so after trying to kill my hands he got off. It’s bad when Cory only wanted to keep Cuda when we got back to the dock since he didn’t wanna clean any fish lol. Think he end up keeping a couple B-liners for sammiches

If you don’t mind me asking, what do you use the barracuda for? Do you make bait strips out of it like bonita?
More like bait chunks, 4-6inch chunks for shark bait.
I must have swam past 50 of them this weekend, but I didn’t see any sharks. I figured they were pretty much just smelly bait stealers.
Are you catching sharks inshore or offshore?
