Sorry to hear this. Good luck Steve.

yall just moved the MP store-what gives?
Well, if you hadn’t noticed, the economy isn’t great.
No More Fishing Season just about destroyed the ability to go out and bottom fish and bring home enough fish for a dinner.
This coupled with Boaters World emptying 2 stores at next to nothing prices…
That would be my guess.

Even as a competitor,I was sorry to hear this news today. Wish the best to all the guys involved and to those who will be job hunting
This is not good news…
well, that blows. Hopefully there’s enough local business to keep haddrells and chuck angler open.

Haddrells seems to have something going after 25+ years.Maybe because I see big Mikes truck at the shop every morning about 7:00.
Good luck guys. It definitely caught me off guard when I heard this. What a nice place ya’ll had going on.
more bad news. This sucks
A lot of good people there that would do whatever it took to help a person out. They will be sorely missed.

I know some people are not there from yesteryear, but it is still the same to me. Just a different name on the outside. I still go in there and always see someone I know and end up spending 3 times longer than intended or needed too. Same rod and reel fixer!
I hate to hear about B&B though. Another sign of the times!!
Sorry to hear it Steve. I bought my Sig there a few weeks ago. How long will you be doing the liquidation I am out of town but want to get there before you close.
Its all relative
I’m a big believer in supporting local buisnesses. I’ve tried to vary my purchases between haddrells c. Angler and b&b. Part of the reason I love living in Mt. P. Is because of the variety of shops. I’ve always felt I belong in this commuinty of saltwater addicted people. Don’t know where I’m going with this but it really sucks to see them close the doors.

Very sad to hear Steve. Thanks for all you’ve done for us. Let me know if we can do anything for you.
