Battery Charger Problem?

I have a Minn-Kota 4 bank charger to run the boat and my 101 trolling motor.

For the past three chargings. Battery #4 indicator lights up red stating bad connection. Also at the same time, it is indicating a green light meaning full charge. I have checked the connections and fuses and everything seems/looks fine to me. And there is no way it could have a full charge at the end of a day. Battery #4 is one year old. Has it gone bad on me? If so, why would the 101 run on two batteries?

Batteries 2,3 and 4 run the trolling motor. While charging, #s 2 and 3 are Yellow seeming to accept the charge. Then once full turn green.

The trolling motor ran good for the past three days acting like the battery 4 is getting a charge, much like 2 and 3.

Is the problem with the #4 bank in the charger, only? And what could I do/buy to repair this problem?

Thank you for your help.

do a low test on the battery in question. If the battery is good then you may want to get someone to look at it. Guest chargers are the way to go

From reds to marlin you got it.

Can you switch the cables with one of the other batteries?
If you still have the problem on bank #4, then you probably have a problem with the charger.
Otherwise, you probably have a problem with your battery.

Happy boatin’ y’all!!

Thank you. I’ll try these suggestions.
