Battery selector switch wiring for twin outboards

Here is my project for this weekend. I have twin outboards. I want three batteries (a starting battery for each motor and a deep cycle for all accessories). I can buy whatever selector switches I need. I am looking for a schematic that is very elementary to follow so that the engines are totally separate, but yet my deep cycle is getting charged. I went back through old post and saw helpful info, but it was for dual batteries on single engines.

I would like to see what everyone has to say on this subject as well. I have twin 1997 115 Mercury 2-stroke motors with two starting batteries and a deep cycle battery. I have two (Off,1,All,2) perko switches. The port side motor is the only thing connected to one perko and the starboard motor is connected to the 1 and the deep cycle is on the 2 on the other perko. I run both perko switches in the All position when on the water and everything seems to be working fine. I am unsure if the starboard motor is putting out enough amperage to charge both the starting and deep cycle sufficiently. Should I get rid of the deep cycle and install another starting battery for backup and just connect the electronics to the starboard starting battery. In this case I would have the first perko switch in the all or 1 position (same thing since only only the port motor is connected to it) and the other perko would be in the 1 position to start the starboard motor and run the electronics and the other battery would be in the 2 position for backup if the motor wouldn’t start.

How do you guys with twin motors and 3 batteries have your boats wired?

Loose the perkos for this app. and check out BEP switches, Here is the link scroll down and find the 2 outboards and 3 batteries one.

One battery for each engine and what is called a house battery for all other.
