Decided to run/bike down to the battery today with a few of my classmates and headed down to the battery. PT’d a little at the Battery and then walked to the water. Saw about 20 or so sheepshead right at the ledge. Was around 11am and low tide. So go catch em up!

Southern edge of Charleston proper. Walkway along the Battery park, where the cannons are. It is the “battery” because of the military battles that happened there. One of the most beautiful historic places around here. You can fish from the sidewalk, although I personally have never caught anything but stingrays and pinfish, the occasional small flounder. Just goofing off with nephews years ago.

idratherbefishing high side or by the red can? Any particular area you looked
Forgive me for not knowing the name of the round white dome in the middle of the battery. If you are looking straight out to the water, it is in front of the dome. Hope this helps anyone.
I went down there Sunday and they were pretty much everywhere at around 4pm, you just had to look for them. Water was super clear. I didn’t take a rod though. They did seem to be decent sizes.
