Recently I have noticed my trim is running a little slower than usual. The radio has also started turning off for a few seconds after trimming the motor. Is this the sign of a battery going bad? As my tag says, I dont have a knack for making motors crank:) thanks for the help.

I would look first, at seeing if cleaning up my battery terminals and cable clamps, might help. Kind of sounds, like they arn’t making good contact!Start with the least expensive first!
seawest; Then you have nothing to lose by taking the cables loose and cleaning them up! It’s about time to change out the battries anyway. You would do that, when you replaced them anyway!
Thanks for the help guys! Went out and checked cables and noticed that the wing nut on the negative side was loose. Tightened it up, and trim worked great, and radio didn’t cut off. I always feel dumb, but happy, when its that easy! Thanks again as always though.
