Selling one of my spinning combos and figured I’d post here before putting it Classifieds or CL.
About a year old with only light use. Looks and works like brand new. Spooled with 14 lb. Trilene XL. If anyone local to Lake Murray area is interested,I can meet you at the dam with it to test out.

On a side note, I stopped by Ollie’s on St Andrews yesterday and if anyone is looking for a cheap fillet knife, they have these right now for $5.99.

If that’s your idea of a “light weight spinning combo,” I’d hate to see what your “heavy duty” gear looks like. Lol!!!

Sorry maybe mid weight. I use 7000 on my heavier gear. I have a 3000-4000 can’t remember. But it’s the right size for striper/redfish etc

I’m more of a 2000 size spinning reel spooled with 16lb braid (pound test, not diameter) and a 10lb - 14lb test fluorocarbon leader on 7’ medium to medium heavy spinning rods for striper and redfish (and pretty much everything in freshwater aside from catfish), but hey, to each his own. Gotta go with what ya know works for you.
I don’t take it personal when a fish bites my bait so I don’t feel the need to beat it into submission. Lol!!! I like the fight.
