Headed slightly south Friday and put lines in at 350’ which previous reports indicated. Trolling out to 550’ from 0900 - 1142 action was non-stop. Went 0 for 4 on sails, 6 tunnies and a total of 36 knock downs. After 1142 may have had 4 knock downs.
Trolled in to 250’ on a weedline we had ran past in the morning. It was dead with the exception of the first shark I have ever caught trolling in 21yrs. (Even fishing king tournys.)
Radio chatter pretty much indicated the same type of day except some boats went home with some meatfish.
This day was sort of typical when you are 3 days off a full moon with a powerful cold front approaching.
Better than a day at work.
