Today I was a guest aboard “Lights On.” Thanks Smily for the invite and Craig for a great day. Seas were flat all day. Headed to 226 as planned along with a host of others. Lines out at 725, double hookup at 730 and 1 bull and 1 cow dolphin boxed. Bull inhaled 2 lures - Caliber lures has it going on.
Not another knockdown the rest of the day. Tons of baitfish and fliers, just no hungry fish that could be entices. Water temp at 226 was 71.7.
I would also like to say congrats to the Agressor who had a great showing of tuna at the dock.
Two weeks and it will truly be game on. “Global Warming” cannot get here soon enough. It is spring.
What a day! Never thought the Lights On would shine at the 226 hole, then pressed even past it by far.
Thanks Lynn “Ms Amanda” for the fuel offer. What is shocking is I had a whole quarter of a tank left when we hit the dock.
The instant double hookup ran the skunk out in less than 10 minutes. THATS quick! Never fails, get something to eat and its fish on.
Its always a pleasure fishing with Battleship and my buddy Cramsey. You could not ask for a better pair of guys to fish with, Thanks guys!
I cant wait to do it again.
Fishing on the bottom is like having sex with the lights turned off. It feels good but I wanna see it.
Lights On!
Thanks smily for a great day on Lights on. Battelship you sure no how to get it done. I had a great time, a little sore but can’t wait to do it again. Smily i have my filet knives in the truck. Let me know what time you want to get to those fish.
Fishing is the chance to wash one’s soul with pure air.
