My brother-in-law is looking at the Sea Fox 240XT bay boat. I’m looking for opinions and other bay boat suggestions in the 24’ size. Thanks.

look at the 24ft ranger bay boat too great lay out and gets shallow we have had my buddies in about 10in of water on the flats

THE keywest bay boat is a great boat too.
I have the 196 and fish it from upper lake marion, to nearshore reefs, & everywhere in between. Had it in some very rough conditions.
Good medium price range boat. :sunglasses:

you get what you pay for.

I have 2 24 bay boats, One is a SeaPro and the other Shearwater. The Shearwater is almost 4 yrs old and still looks new even with 2240 hrs on it. The SeaPro has already had to be re wired, the gel coat is chipped, the lids are cracked etc.

Look at a top end boat, Shearwater, Pathfinder, Yellowfin etc…and then compare how what you are looking at measures up.

I have a Ranger Bayboat, 218. Love it! Check out Pathfinders and Tritons also. Not going to bash other boats, but there is some merit to the saying, “You get what you pay for”, when it comes to boats.

The Triton LTS are great boats, but no one is carrying them anymore making warranty work a nightmare…

I just picked up a 2200 TE Pathfinder and absolutely love it. It’s a 2006 and you’d never know it by looking. Nice boas are out there at great prices. I think there is a 2200V PF w/ an F250 in Brunswick for sale now around 29k…2007 I think.
