Anyone have a Sea Hunt bay boat? Selling mine and thinking of getting a 22 with a 150 Yammy.
I looked at those. The BX is really nice, but ended up getting the Sportsman instead. I have the 22 with the 150 and I love it.

I have a Pathfinder 2200/150 Yammer which handles nicely in even a heavy chop. Got mine 4 years ago at Tailwalker in Gtown. Might want to check them out.

I have a 2010 SeaHunt XP 21 with a 150 Yamaha. Over 350 hours on the engine so it has been through its paces.
Love it. Dry boat. Great storage and layout. Get in a 1.5ft of water. Been 10 miles offshore in it on a good day.
Happy to answer any questions Stonoman.
How much are you sellin’ it for, Joe?

Joe, saw this today and thought you may want to have a look see. Only used 10 times in fresh water.

I like my 24 Shearwater… there are alot of nice bay boats on the market though. I can load mine by myself with no problems.
Keeping mine and cleaning it up.

Joe, I know your boat isn’t exactly the best candidate for a bow mount trolling motor and it will clutter you up a little, but wouldn’t that allow you to easily sit up front and pick away at the grassline?
Stonoman,
I bought a Sea Hunt BX22 bay boat last October. It has a 150hp Yamaha. Even though it is the first boat that I have purchased, I looked for about 5 months prior to making the purchase. It rides well, 150HP seems fine, I have had it moving about 35 mph in calm water, with the engine at 4800-5000rpm. Once planed out, the ride is smooth.
I have taken it out about 15 miles to fish the reefs, and had it inshore. It drafts about 2 1/2 ft with the engine down, so that is something to be aware of. I am seriously looking at a trolling motor in order to get shallow and quiet.
I hope this helps.
I am experiencing extreme boat envy…

I purchased a Key West 210BR w/ 150 Yammy this past summer.
I had a 196BR KW with 150 Optimax.
I like my old boat, but man the new boat is that much better.
Top end speed is better (52 mph with me and the wife in it)
Handles the water well.
Really like the extra storage space / compartments.
Would buy it again today - hands down.
I bought the BX22 last summer. Really like the boat, good in skinny water and at near shore reefs. Might consider a bigger engine, the 150 is fine unless you have a number of passengers. Only problem I had was with the radio and with a fungus that grows inside the upholstery and shows up as a pink stain. Both covered under warranty.
