Grandson and I took 2 friends that moved down here from New Jersey out for their first taste of SC recreational shrimping. We put in at Buck Hall and shrimped north end. Started a sunrise and fished rising tide. Got just short of 3/4 cooler. 20 quarts headed and in freezer.
Beautiful day. Only drawback was Flipper and friends. They came by twice. First time they only ate the shrimp and left. Continued to catch good shrimp after they left. Second time they came thru, they ate the shrimp and the bait. So that is when we called it quits. Was hi slack anyway, so no real loss. Sunrise and catch pics below.
