I tried in the hunting section and didn’t get any feed back so I’m going to try here. It is kind of off topic.
I’m going to get one… I just want some feed back on the baddest quietest one out there. I’m now leaning towards the new ones that use a nitrogen charged bladder instead of spring. (don’t want a C02). Also what’s the pros and cons on .177 over a .22 caliber. I figure if I’m going to spend the money for one I want to get something I’ll be happy with. Take away my .22lr amo and I’ll show them!
On that note my son was in wallyworld today and picked me up 3 boxes of .40 and 4 boxes of .9mm. If anyone’s looking for .32 long they had 10 boxes on the shelf. still no .22lr…
I have a Beeman and a gamo both brake barrel not co2 there are both 177 cal 1000 feet per second. I like both of them don’t get any thing under 1000 fops
It is a break barrel single shot. It flings these gold plated pellets well over 1000fps. Make me an offer if you like. It is .177 actually it is rated 1200fps for lead pellets and 1400fps for the gold plated ones.
I have a Gamo Viper that will slap wear out a squirrel or raccoon. A buddy has a Gamo Whisper, but its not as quiet as my Viper. Scoped up and deadly accurate with the BB tipped pellet. The Gamo red & blue flame pellets are a waste of money. I have had squirrels get stuck to the tree after shooting them in the head. I hate tree rats and kill every dang one that comes in my yard that I catch.
My buddy has a benjamin super streak, up to 1500fps depending on pellet. The thing is accurate as hell but is far from quiet.

The super streaks a spring loaded, I’d love to hear from anyone that’s shot the nitrogen bladder single cock style.
My son picked up the Gamo Whisper. Not real quiet. Did not factor in that over 1100fps you’ll have a sonic crack. Don’t really think about a bb gun being super sonic. Being quiet is not as important as the accuracy, I just figure if I’m not exploding powder, I want it to be quiet.
