Finally had a free weekend with no obligations, picked up tags around lunch, then made friends with a homeowner in Mt pleasant and they let me cut 10 stalks of bamboo from their patch, picked up bait at the outpost then home to get everything ready for Saturday. Had my fianc?, dad, and our good friend Jeff on board…met up with my friend Johnny at buck hall and followed him out to BB to set up to fish the first of the incoming. set up in about 2 ft and baited and let it sit for one beer…first run, bigggg shrimp on each pole, success!! Everyone on board had a blast. I definitely made some mistakes that cost us a full cooler though…I set the poles too close together, and I need to trim the stalk of my poles so they’re completely smooth. Regardless, we had a heck of a time with lots of shrimp for everyone. My fianc? went back yesterday with just 5 poles and caught a 1/3 cooler in a couple of passes, we had to get back early, so we only got to hit it for 45mins or so… they were running well again. Both trips, these were the biggest shrimp I’ve ever caught, thanks to captain Johnny of Ambush Charters for letting me follow him on Saturday, and to everyone on here for the tips in their reports. All shrimp were caught in the White Banks area. Back at it in two weeks!!

Good going Cadill. I bet it’s nice living out there away from town now.

A bench grinder or belt sander will make quick work of this.

RIP my “Puppy Dog” 10/15/2004 - 1/14/2013. I’ll never forget him. What a special friend he was.
Thx Rap, it’s great man…close enough, but far enough from town…come see us when you’re back in town!
Bow, that’s my plan…thx!
