Probably about 12-15 mph. The south end of the bay had a pretty good 2 ft chop to it, made standing and throwing a little tough at times. We were in a 20ft deep V Key West which handled it well but if we were in the jon boat, wouldn’t have lasted too long.
Either way, couldn’t find the shrimp.

I finished the season with an evening run t the south end of bull’s bay at sunset. what seemed calm while at work all day picked up at garris landing at 5:30. set poles in 3.5 feet of water, baited and as soon as the sun went down the shrimp showed up. I was solo since it was a school night and I set up so the wind would push me down the line. I had a couple good passes with up to 4 dozen shrimp in a cast then the wind had to go over 20. 2 foot chop made moving in the boat then throwing a challenge. finished with just under a half. the size was mixed with the majority M/L and some jumbo. all in all a good year esp. since I hadn’t put any in the freezer the previous 2 seasons. mike

went yesterday but for a small craft advisory starting at 10am it was not bad never started. saw 4 jon boats and a bass tracker. shrimp was small and only a couple per cast. got real cold no sun either.

Went to South end of BB out of Garris. Left landing at 9:00 and went out to mouth of Anderson Creek. Wind was much stronger than forecast and we met with whitecaps as wind was out of the NE. We were deep holeing and never really got on any shrimp in that area. We moved carefully out to the channel inside Bull Island and found some shrimp, but they were small. Between wind, cool temp. and small shrimp we called it a day around 1:00 with gust over the bottom of the cooler covered.
