Thanks to Shevlin, Troy, Ty, Adam, and Ralph for such a great day on the ocean. I hope to fish with them again soon.
We headed out at 430am from ripleys and lines were in close to 7. fished 280line at 300’ and the sailfish were everywhere. some werent as hungry as others but we raised atleast a dozen but only 5 commited got one to the boat for a pic. All strikes were on naked ballyhoos on the flatlines. Dredges and teasers are a must right now from what I saw. We will be at it again this weekend.

were you already trolling the naked hoos on the flat line when the sails came up in the spread, or did u let them out when you saw them hitting the teaser?

already trolling the naked hoos didnt pitch anything. when the one was slamming the teaser i did reel that in so he could chomp on something with a hook. its covered up in sailfish right now. be at it again saturday, will post another report then. hopefully it will be just as interesting of a day.
