Beat by the wind

The wind kicked our butt today. We were out at Copahee sound, and the plan was to catch bait at the landing, fish the grass line, and use some spoons up in the flat. Well, that did not work out as planed. If anyone finds a Voltaeus Shimano rod with a Shimano Sienna spinning reel spooled with power pro PM me. ANYWAY… the wind would not let us set up anywhere, and it took us about 1 hour to get to a creek mouth to fish. We had to wait about 2 hours to get into the flat to fish for some tailers. We saw 3 tails, and one was massive but we could not get the spoons on their nose. Well it was a pretty sucky day of yak fishing in my book. LOL but really if you find that rod up in the grass, PM me, but we got broke off
Forgot to mention that we did get one bite on dead FM on the bottom.

“In every species of fish I’ve angled for, it is the ones that have got away that thrill me the most, the ones that keep fresh in my memory. So I say it is good to lose fish. If we didn’t, much of the thrill of angling would be gone.” Ray Bergman
