We tried the Coosaw River Thursday night. Nothing but peanuts and only 6-8 per cast. Two other boats in the Coosaw left before us. We moved to Dataw Island and got 1/2 cooler of mixed shrimp. The shrimp were not there until the tide starting dropping. We tried Dataw again Friday night. Same thing, the shrimp were not there until about 9:40 pm. Finished up with 3/4 cooler of mixed. Only one other boat and trailer was at Eddings Point landing. We saw no boats at the Morgan River flats and none at Lands End.
Another note. A friend of my nephew coolered out at 2-4 pm Friday on the Morgan flats. The shrimp were mixed but some bigger ones in the mess. The full moon had the waters muddy enough for the shrimp to be there during the day plus it was overcast.
