Beaufort report 9/21-22

shrimped of a dock about 7 miles inland. Baited heavy, we were pulling up lots of shrimp, about 3 dozen a cast but 75% were to small to keep. The other 25% were mediums some large only half a dozen jumbos the whole time. It does make me feel like the shrimp population is very healthy though! I think in a month it wouldnt take long to cooler out. Caught on really nice flounder with a popping cork and shrimp off the dock. Caught all the spanish I could want about 5 miles offshore. Literally acres of them busting glass minnows. I did see something I have never seen before though…tons of people sticking poles during the day! Never seen that before, I guess the water was muddy enough? Sounds fine to me, those long cold nights are taking their toll!

That would be nice to shrimp during the day. My boys and I end up freezing and pooped out after a whole night on the water. Any reports from Port Royal?
