Beaufort shrimping

I have moved from Charleston back to Beaufort. Access from my dock to Cat Island Creek and Port Royal sound. Would be great to have some folks w/ local knowledge baiting in the area to go out. I have boat and poles. Any areas to bait during day?Maybe the bar out by Station Creek behind Bay Point, or Trunchards Inlet?
Still hope to make CB and Bulls Bay a few times this year too.
Message me if interested in going out in Beaufort river/Port Royal sound.

I don’t think you need to trailer to Bulls Bay. There are shrimp in your area. A lot of folks inland tow to Wimbee Landing for shrimp. Most people from Edisto go to Combahee Light area to shrimp. Daytime will depend on tide and IMO it’d be best at low in the skinny creeks. I’m sure the “deep hole” method will work, but I don’t know of any specific locations. We used to do a lot a shrimping in Bluffton.

I am in Beaufort - have gotten almost too old to throw a net but be glad to drive for you or just share info on where to go.
