Begginners Trip

I have never done any fly fishing other than messing around in a pond or lake. My dad and I want to go on a trip for beginners. Does anybody have any recommendations on where to go maybe in feb. or march. I personaly would like to go for saltwater species but that is not written in stone…

In Feb the water in Charleston should be gin clear, and the reds will be schooled up on the flats in schools of 20-300 fish. Good opp for the fly, work on your distance with casting
