Started extra early this morning in h
ope’s of hitting the nearshore reef, but someone made my frozen bait miraculously disappear…hmmm. So had to wait for Hadrells to open up which set us back an hour. Got to the ramp and the neighborhood whitetail herd was there to greet us, same cow horn and 3 does. Expected this to be our sign. Unloaded the boat got out from the ramp spitting and sputtering my motor began to talk in tongues…diluted fuel from the station this morning had to show it’s tail. Drained the separator and purged the fuel system a little bit and headed out to the jetties instead which was now 2 hours later than had expexted. Found some BSBs but that was not the action that was expected. Pulled up and headed to the ICW. Youngen found some snaggle lipped redfish and managed to land 6 and have 6 get off half way through the battle. Then the worst thing you can thing of showed up while fishing was on fire, nope not DNR, but the Duo Dolphins. Carolina rig was the ticket and shrimp and muddies performed identical to each other. Headed back in to let her find some more shark teeth and again loaded up. This time turned up 151 teeth in 65 minutes. All smiles on the way home. Youngen Style!
