Do you slow down when you go through there or just keep it on plane?

Go slow. I don’t want to be responsible for damaging someones stuff or knocking off someone fishing back there. I don’t any more bad juju.

There use to be a sign on one of the docks that’s loved…it had a picture of. A tractor and waves and said…“unless you’re a tractor…quit plowing”. Someone had hand painted it:)

I went through there on plane on a tuesday afternoon and one of goat islands finest went ballistic when I came by his dock in a 15ft jon boat on plane as close to the marsh side as I could get. I slowed down and asked him where the no wake buoy’s were but he just kept screamed drunken jibber jabber at me and waving his arms. My boat throws a very small wake while on plane. If I was in a 26ft boat that would be a differnt story and I would have definetly slowed down. I just dont think that boaters should have to go by every dock at idle speed unless it is an official DNR no wake zone. Am I in the wrong here?
ya this is an ongoing dilemma. I throw a very small wake on full plane in my whaler. Its hard to convince property owners of that - they see a fast moving boat and react to it. Doubt they notice the little ripple that actually hits their dock.

Pffft, shows what you know. Fritz slings more fish there than a Japanese fish market.
