Dunked the boat about 1:30. Found all the mullet and pinfish we needed in a creek not far from the landing. Decided to chase the big boys. Headed toward the ocean and found a nice looking spot on the sounder. Waited on the tide to slow. 1 shark, 1 big ray, 1 big red, and lost a mystery fish that went up top spooled us. Should’ve already had the anchor ball tied on, lesson learned. Not bad for throwing something together on a sunday afernoon. Broke the net too. Any suggestions on some nets that won’t break or break the bank.
Huge red! Try grabbing the net by the webbing instead of the handle.

I’ll have to try that next time. Guess it’s a good problem to have.

the rubber nets are strong, and they’ll hold the bulls but you can reinforce the handles if needed
