Bennetts Point 10-29 Report

Great day on the water. 82 and plenty of sun. Took a buddy from Clemson and his son out today. Hit the outgoing tide about 11am. Slow going all the way through low tide. Had just enough to cover the bottom of the cooler. Tide turned and so did our luck. Shrimp picked up in number and size. Ended up with well over a 1/3 cooler of headed shrimp. So nice with 4 people on the boat. 1 driver, 1 Net man and 2 popping heads. Had to cut off early and left shrimp on the poles. Got a call from a life long friend who’s motor quit on him down there. Hauled the poles and headed to tow him in. All is well and got him and us back to the ramp. Just made it back in time to watch my Tigers kick off. What a great day.

On a side note buddy did confirm those were Tarpon and I am not crazy. At least not that crazy.
