Anyone had experience with bending their skeg back? Would like to take it to a shop to have it fixed. Its not a major bend and from what I can tell its not hurting the performance…just annoys me.
As long as it’s not too bad, I’ve had some success using a dead blow or rubber mallet with a wood backing block. Just don’t hit it too hard.

I have straightened a few with a block of wood on each side and a large C clamp- also used happy Bobs method
Thanks for all of the advice! I am close to Skip’s and may give him a ring to see before trying to do this myself…usually doesn’t go well when I do.
