Berkeley County is hosting a Paddlefest at the Old Santee Canal Park in Moncks Corner on 9 April. Admission to the park will be free. There will be music, food and drink, kayak, canoe, and outdoor
sports vendors, paddle makers, fly fishing demo’s, and a variety of nature and paddling related presentations. We will also offer free
tickets and a one time opportunity to paddle the Old Santee Canal
Park and Cypress Gardens with your own kayaks on Sunday the 9th. We
will be giving away a Sundance kayak, paddle, and pfd as a door prize.
The Paddlefest is the kick off for the Berkeley County Blueways
website and book promotion to promote paddle sports in Berkeley
