Bought an electric water pressure washer at lowes.Used it today to clean the boat.Perfect machine for what i need.Cleaned off the crab yuck and ground in mud.Cleaned the boat inside and out in about 30 minutes. No scrub YEA!!
Stono glad to hear the electric washer worked so well. I have gas powered and because my shoulders are so bad it just about bring tears to my eyes starting it.Have been thinking about putting that and my chainsaw in the swap shop and buying a electric washer.
What PSI did you get? I was looking at this one, but not sure if 1600 PSI is enough http://www.lowes.com/ProductDisplay?productId=4439879
For washing a boat, a 1600PSI should be plenty, Daniel. High pressure is NOT a friend of paint and gel coat. I’ll let others speak up specifically of what they use, but I’ve used 2000 PSI washers to clean concrete, and I wouldn’t dare touch a boat or car with it unless I had the pressure regulated down or I stood further away to allow air drag to blunt the force.
