Best cheeseburger?

Saw post about best sandwich and got me wondering. Where is best “traditional” cheeseburger? Talking meat, cheese, slaw maybe chili with slice of onion and tomato. No fried egg, avocado etc., just your basic cheeseburger.

I can’t give a best place, and I know you said no fried egg, but I want to try someplace that makes one with the fried egg. Runny. Had a friend tell be about getting one like that and he said it was fantastic.

True southerners are the minority in Charleston now unfortunately…I’d be willing to bet less than 25% of the people posting here were actually born here.

The $5 burger deal at Rutledge Cab is by far the best bang for your buck burger in Charleston. Is only on Mondays though.
