Best color lens for sunglasses

I got some cheap polarized shades that are in between the tac yellow and amber and they make color changes more pronounced and light less harsh on the eyes. I can see depth and water color changes very well i shore but it takes the blue effect out offshore. I can see weed lines and objects in the water offshore pretty well and my eyes felt no effects from being offshore all day. Some of the costas that are amber are to much tent.

Try a pair of Sunclouds before you spend big money on shades. Made by Smith, $50 retail and a great warranty. I wear them more than my Costas.

^^^^^^^This.

Have an ancient pair of SunClouds that are black with smoked lenses. Took me year to mark up the lenses. Still keep them in the car for when I forget my other pair. My wife got me a pair of their readers (https://www.suncloudoptics.com/SUNGLASSES/Readers/COVER-READER-(MEDIUM-FIT)/p/S-CVRPPBRBB150?) and I immediately went back and bought a second pair to keep in the drawer for when I lose the first pair. Love 'em. Fortunately, still have the first pair or readers. Note that the readers are not just reading glasses. The majority of the lens is normal shaped. It has a small ‘reader’ rectangle at the center bottom edge that makes tying on flies and such much easier.

Made by Smith, but, significantly cheaper.
