Best deal on I-pilot

I’ve just about got enough pennies save to get one. Anyone know of any special deals going on?

I bought mine from trollingmotors.net, saved a couple of hundred bucks, no taxes and free shipping. I typically bite the bullet and support local businesses, but that dang thing was so expensive I had to put my pocketbook first. $1,100 or $1,200 as I recall. Whole process was really smooth.

Another vote for trollingmotors.net

Very smooth transaction and the best price I could find. The SP70 iPilot 54", quick release bracket, plug/receptacle and circuit breaker was about $1300 last year.

Got mine from them too. Plenty of follow up from them asking if u need help. Sent me a couple of coozies nada hand-written than you note
a couple of months later. Didn’t need either but I thought it was a nice touch.

BOB; I used sportsman’s guide. i joined their club for $29 and that allows you to sav 10% on all purchases. we got the ipilot80/60 for right around $1200. also; pull up minnkota and they usually have rebate coupons. it was $80 the last time i checked. you can go on line to sportsmansguide.com and it should pull up the site. have bought quite a few things including deer stands, hats, ammo etc. they are good people to work with and actually have live people to talk to when you call them. check them out. won’t cost you anything and may just save you a couple hundred. good luck

let me know what you can get it for, we may be able to match or beat it

I got mine from trollingmotors.net as well but if I knew Chris would come close I would have supported the local business. I did talk to the guys at trollingmotors.net on the phone and were very knowledgeable.

I found a new Minn Kota Powerdrive V2 55 W/I-pilot, 55lb.trust, 54" shaft for $939.99 shipped to my door. It’s a freshwater model, since I mainly fish Lake Murray.

Minn kota just ended there rebate on the first. It was $1 per lb thrust.

My $80 rebate went to Haddrell’s.

I found mine on eBay. Same prices as trollingmotors.net

Even if someone local can match the price, sales tax is going to be around $100
That’s a new battery for the motor.

I checked their website & I can get it at a pretty decent price. A savings of about $95.00(minus the $29.00 club fee), but almost all of the I-pilots were out of stock and on backorder till at least the middle of September, if not longer. I don’t know if I want to wait that long.
The trouble is that I’m like the kid with a pocket full of birthday cash at the toy store, I’ve got the money and I want it NOW!

I ordered my trolling motor this morning from The Trolling Motor Depot dot com. I’m getting the Minn Kota Powerdrive V2 55/I-pilot. 54" shaft. He matched the lowest price I found, plus some and free shipping. I saved about $65.00, plus shipping.
Now, I’m like a kid at Christmas, waiting for my presents to get here!
I can hardly wait to get it mounted on the Lund & try it out!!!

No worries, Chris. I actually got it several dollars less than that.
I ordered mine yesterday at 9:00AM and it was at my house today about 3:00PM. AND I didn’t have to drive anywhere to pick it up. It shipped from Ellett Bros. in Newberry. Can’t beat that.

Okay Bob, waiting for those reports and pics of fish now.

“Apathy is the Glove into Which Evil Slips It’s Hand”.

Yeah Doug, With the goodies I’ve recently acquired, I’m expecting the fish to be jumping in my boat. All I have to do is just sit there, drink beer and watch.

BOb; with all of that new stuff, boat, motor etc; just be very careful and hold your bait way down in the floor of the boat when you bait up so that the fish do not jump in the boat and take it before you even get it in the water. happy for you. you will enjoy the t/motor.

BAIT??? You mean I still have to buy bait? I was just going to bring my fishing rods for intimidation.
I’m sure I’ll like it with everything good I’ve heard about it. Now I’ve just got to figure out how to use all this new technology
