That would be The White Stripes. Jack White is actually one hell of a musician. Too bad that song “Seven Nation Army” is the song selected. He has a lot of good stuff…

My wife is a Va Tech Grad and have been to some games at Lane Stadium. First game I attended was against Clemson and was a huge night game for them. I can honestly say that it does not live up to hype. Great campus and an interestingly designed stadium that is loud for the 65K they have. The entrance…meh, nothing really that special. Maybe it has been built up to much over the years by the media so my expectations were too high.

Norman, Ok. “Owen Field” is the loudest I’ve been to and that includes Clemson’s games with Ga. and Miami and Tennessee’s Neyland. Being there and seeing the drum corps and the high stepping drum major rip it down the field to the song “Oklahoma” will raise goose bumps. Have lost my voice there many times by halftime from trying to yell above the crowd noise to people I’m there with. Electric atmosphere for sure.

oh yeah, that was sooooooooooooooooooooooooooo much better than they boys running down the hill…

Tonight was the most electric I’ve seen Billy Brice since Alabama rolled in at number one and strolled out with a loss.

Great atmosphere tonight!

The opening may not have been so great but the ending was pretty good. Personally while I like the 2001 entry with all the smoke, I am not really sure where the Cocky “magic act” came from or what it is really all about.
