Best Fish Finder/GPS Combo under 1000.00?

Its time for an upgrade, currently using an older Lowrance HDS-5. Would like something bigger and user friendly. I use my boat mostly offshore.

What would you get?

Man, lots of options at that price range… are you near a west marine by any chance? Go in and mess around with their display units and start pushing buttons and see what you like the most. Pretty much all of them will have the same technology at that price, so its going to be a matter of preference. Make sure you check to see if certain units come with the transducer, some don’t, so don’t overlook that.

Ive been using the Garmin Echomap Plus 72Cv. Ive been having a lot of fun using it. If youre looking for other options, you should look at this website.
