Best fishing gloves

What are, in yalls opinion, the best gloves out there for fishing? something that will help keep the chill off your hands but also allow you to bait a hook.

Northern Tool Ironton Nitrile-Coated Gloves Part #41576

Pick them up when on sale $9.99 for 12 pair. Normal price is $19.99.
The plastic dipping is just grippy enough to handle bait/fish and they are thin enough to still allow feeling and detailed work. These are not perfect, but the best ones I have found.

I have tried the Home Depot Orange ones, they are extremely slippery.
I have also tried the Mustad gloves have better grip but are way to bulky.

those work well, but dont help too much with keeping hands warm.

ive had those the last couple of years, they work pretty good at keeping your hands warm. they do get a little bulky, but the fingers will folder back and velcro to themselves, to allow detail work with your finger tips.

Lindy Glove w/ sharkskin. Won’t keep you super warm like neoprene, but keep the chill off, plus you can grab the fish out of water w/o worry of switching gloves out/off. The sharkskin material will prevent any hooks or spines getting in the hand.

I have these shimano gloves: http://www.troutlet.com/Shimano-Fishing-Gloves-P484.aspx and love them. I use them colder months for kayak fishing, and they work well. You can pull back the thumb and index finger for knot tying and finesse, but still have plenty of warmth and grip.

yeah those shimano gloves are pretty much exactly like the ones i use now.

those look to be the samething but 2mm instead of 3mm. Therefor they wont be as warm, but may be a little more user friendly

I’ll check with my wife and Bonzo, and get back to you

Those look just like my Shimano, I bet Glacier made those for them!

I’ve been winter fishing for over 60 years and have spent 100s of dollars on differant gloves. I found that wearing a set of mittens will keep you hand warmer than gloves and are easier to pull off to cast and rig and back on when not fishing. I use a string around my neck to hold them like my mother did for me when i was a kid.

Keep those on your hands but use another pair over them for when you are done baiting or dehooking.
