In your opinion, whats the best month for catching kings?
Are their better months to target them over live bottom vs the shipping channel?

october. water is cooling the bait is moveing south and is easy to come by. i’m from murrells inlet so we don’t have a shipping channel but fishing the tideline is pretty good them also. that being said i prefer live bottom areas.

I like the end of sept. and oct. the best. You can find them in the channels if theres bait there but I would def. try to get the local report around your live bottoms. During the hotter months your live bottoms are going to produce more just cause the waters cooler out there.
