Best place for bait and fish bite

Where is Ned’s that y’all post about? It’s been years since I striper fished. Thinking about going out tomorrow morning but not sure I have time to go get Herring and get out early. Is the fish bite on still around the Gap? Thought about trolling some single bucktails and umbrella rigs.

The name is Better Bait. On hwy. 6 at Jake’s Landing Rd, there is a Shell station on the corner and he is behind it. You can’t miss it. Metal building.

Thanks. That’ll work perfect once I get my new CC the first of the year. Right now gonna run my dads boat that stays in the water. He lives by south shore so just a couple miles from the gap. Are the fish still heavy in that area or have they moved up lake?

Your not gonna get much info out of anyone for the next 2 weeks. Got a tx this weekend and next weekend. I will say don’t be afraid of muddy water up above the elbow. It’s producing good fish. Good keeper fish can be caught from the rivers to ballentine right now.

Feel free to PM info as I haven’t been apart of MSC since I was 16 and am not fishing any tournaments

I’ve been seeing a lot of boats pulling planers. Only a few trolling with artificials.

Easy on the details, you don’t want to spot burn anyone

How’s everyone fairing out there thats fishing today? I’ve got 3 in the boat, only 1 keeper. Shorts were 20 and 17. Pulling 2 5 prong U rigs and 2 buck tail singles. 22 and 20 caught same spot, 17. Couple miles away in open water. I’ll post details and a couple pics in separate post
