I am looking into the best, most affordable anchor system on the market. Stick it, Dig in, Cajun anchor, power pole, talon, Wang, etc… What do you guys recommend?

I use my Cajin a 5footer a lot.My problem is i find it hard to get out at my age.It will hang up pretty good in plough mud.My new 8’Power pole will solve that problem.
Have the stick it and it is the best accessory I have every purchased with my boat. I almost bought a cajun anchor but the noise was an issue for me - watch the video and see what I am talking about. Stick it is great in 8 ft. or less. Reality is I don’t anchor in much deeper than that often. If you do, just use your anchor. Every anchor system has a max.

remind me not to borrow your wang…
I still just use a fluke anchor or 2 (although I realize that is not one of your choices above)…
I hear when on the water its more fun to hang out with your wang out. But I think stick it maybe a little better, maybe its just a comfort thing. http://www.wanganchor.com/

I have a piece of 1 1/4 Aluminum tubing about 18 in long screwed to my transom with conduit clamps. It is 1 in. dia inside and I cut a piece of 1 in sched 40 pvc pipe what ever length I want and leave the bell end on it. I run a clevis pin about 6 in long through a drilled hole in the PVC to use as a handle ( for the puff mud) right below the bell end and another small hole for a pin about a foot from the end to hold it out of the water when I am moving. When I want to stop, I pull the lower pin and it slides down to the bottom and holds the boat. The PVC gives enough so the stress on the tubing isn’t too much and it has worked for me for a few years. I have maybe $25 in it.
Another advantage to the stick it or longer anchor poles is you can use it as a push pole as well. Not a replacement if you do a lot of poling from a traditional push pole, but I have used mine many times to move around when I want to keep quiet.
