Looking for a couple of cameras. Currently have a couple Moultries that are ok. Trying to stay under the 100-125 mark.
Thanks

I have 4 wild game innovations cameras. I settled on that brand after years of trying different brands. They perform best for me and last multiple seasons. My 2 cents if it matters. Primos does have amazing customer service. I only know that because they all broke… Couldn’t ask for better service though.

How do the Primos do on range from the camera? Could you send a few pics of how they look?
Thanks
I have used many brands. The best I have found to date is the Stealth Cam 42ng. This is a no glow camera that takes great still and videos pictures. They can be had between $99 to $159 dollars depending on where you purchase them
The primos did great on range. The pictures were also excellent. Seemed each one I had just stopped working after about a year. Sorry I don’t have any pics available from my old primos cams. Im using the cloak 8 and 10 now and I really like them.

HEre is a primos day and night pic. I like the Primos better than the Moultrie. Primos is super easy to set up and i like the temp being given. The moultrie seems too sensitive, the slightest leaf movement will set it off.
One other thing, I’ve not had but one buck get spooked or look at the Primos, It seems that all bucks caught on the Moultrie are looking at it.
I like my Browning. I caught it on sale last year at academy.
Anybody have experience with any of the cameras that text or email you the pictures?
I am curious about the cameras that send emails/texts. I have a feeling this would only further depress the situation by not only adding to my already ridiculous digital distractions but also further show the $$ being tossed in the toilet for hunt clubs and corn bills. Not enough time in the world these days to do it all. I don’t want my camera nagging me too!
TRS I am with you there.
Thanks to everyone for the information.
The biggest plus I can see with the cameras that send you pictures is the fact you can scout/monitor and area without actually being there. This would minimize human odor and/or pressure in the area.
That said, they are expensive, especially compared to regular trail cameras. I’ve been running Brownings since last year and I’ve been very pleased. Good picture quality (day and night), information label, small and compact, decent trigger speed (very few blanks), great battery life.
God bless the “ignore” function.
For monitoring thieves in a bad area get one, for deer I’m not that into it.
