I think I would pull and inspect well before 100,000 mi!
I have had the vortex hubs for a year or so no. No issues with them at all. Only another 96k miles and I will be ready to inspect them!
Oil Bath hubs from Reliable/EZ-Loader. One look at the sight glass thru the hub nut, you’re good to go.

You’re spare hub with bearings is the best hub you can buy. We have hauled boats of all sizes commercially for over 10 years and have had them fail both new and with 1000’s of miles on them. Just my .02
I’ve got the Vortex on my johnboat trailer & I’m pleased with them, but 100k no way.
