Best year round bait

Zman slimswimz, low tide falling. I threw about 6 cast with a gulp and had to hits and the tail cut off. Time to siwtch to zman. Fished 1 ss for about 10 fish and 30 or 40 hits and the tail got bit off. Put on another and caught some more. I fished for about an hr or so and watched a big fish bust up the bank the entire time. It was just out of reach unless i wanted to get real muddy. I worked the area closest to him and got lucky. Lots of small reds and flounders a couple of 15ish flounder and reds and i lost a good size flounder and landed a 26 inch red. The big flounder pictured shook the hook and swam away right after the picture and i was thinking about keeping him. All fished released.

That red looks so disappointed in itself for being caught.

Lol. Perfect

Nice catching and report 40. Your feet don’t get cut up?

A lifetime of being barefoot and you develope soft steps and tough feet. These were old dead oysters so they aren’t sharp like standing oysters. Plus im Native American.

good catchin.

That’s a lot of fish. I didn’t know we had a fish farm here. What does it cost to fish there? Are you allowed to keep any? I usually use worms at fish farms but I’ll try the slimswimz next time

Nah fish farms a harder to catch fish then this spot. It took me at least 10 cast to catch a trout a the trout farm in maggie valley.
