Fished from 10 to 2 after laying off a week or more dodging rain, winds, and cold. The 5 mph(?) breeze still had a bite to it. Found fish in 24 feet of water adjacent to our hump in the entrance to Ballentine Creek. The bite wasn’t real vicious, but every now and then one would get the urge. Pulling planer boards we managed two 21 incher and three 22 inchers. All were really fat. Lost them for a while when the lady in the pontoon buzzed us, but it is Saturday. Water temp was just 48.4. However the 10 day forecast is looking pretty good, finally. Maybe this time next week water temps will be in the mid 50’s. Another boat at LHM when we came in reported catching 7 but didn’t get the size or location.
Put 15 in boat on thurs…6 good keepers…water looked like chocolate milk but hey we caught fish. 30-50 ft
