bifocal polarized sunglasses

I hate to admit it, but I’m getting older and things don’t work like they used to. I’m fine with most of it, except for my eyes having a harder time seeing that hook eye to tie a knot. Any suggestions for reasonably priced polarized sunglasses with bifocal?
Thanks

Not reasonably priced in my opinion, but I need bifocals as well, so I got an eye exam and bought transitional lens with the bifocal that doesn’t have the line. They turn dark in the sun but are not polarized. (400$) I sent my Costas in with my prescription and they are 405$. I didn’t want the bifocal with my Costas, but they will do it. I just got the distant correction lens. Kind of gives you an Idea of the cost.

I used to buy them in the fishing section at Walmart for $20-$25. Berkley brand. Worked well.

Not true bifocals. Just glasses w readers.

Don’t know much about glasses but for the “other things”, have you tried Viagra?

If you know your eye exam numbers (prescription strength and pupil distance type stuff) try contacting the ONOS brand glasses online… they have quality polarized glasses for a fair price. Coasta wanted almost 500 for their Rx glasses where these guys had similar for 230 range…

$400-500 is way out of my price range. I’ll keep using my cheaters.

There are tinted safety glass with readers out there.

They quoted you 4-500$ for the glasses you need??

My eyes have a different correction on each side. I buy 1 set of 2.00 and one of 2.75 and swap out the lenses. I spoke to my eye DR about this and his response was “well how can I make money if everybody did this?”

My father-n-law got some of these & he said they work great for the price.

That’s all I need, sunglasses with readers. But I do want polarized. I have safety glasses with readers, both clear and tinted, not polarized though. I’ll check Wally World again. Didn’t see any when I was there today.

I paid $800 for prescription Costa glasses, 580 lenses. Expensive but worth every penny when you work outside and blind.

TJ Maxx and CVS, both sell non-bifocal, tinted, readers. Around $8.00 at TJ Maxx, less than $20.00 at CVS. CVS has a much better frame selection. I was prescribed bifocals, but can’t make them work in a construction environment. The tinted readers have been a blessing.

Bob, check out Knot Master Polarized Sun Readers. They sell them at Sportsman’s Warehouse, $24.99.

I have a pair called Fish Eyes, they are great not sure where I got them, you may be able to gOogle and find. I also use those clip on sun glasses.

I have the Costa Saltbreak readers for $200. My knots still slip.

“No… it’s okay, I know the way out…”

Bob we used to get prescription stickers for safety glasses from the tool rental companies. They were sold in strengths like dime store readers, you stick them inside of the glasses at the bottom and worked great for readers. They were half moon shaped and used to work great in sun glasses. I haven’t thought about them lately to see if they still sell them. I think United Rentals had them.

Got some sunglass readers yesterday at costco 2 pair for $10. Not polarized.

Zinni Optical online is another option. You would need your prescription which you can get from your eye doctor and a measurement of the distance between the center of your pupils.
