Went to Gtown to the jetties. It was a good day and enjoyed being out. I used the larger sand fleas, they worked better this trip than the live fiddlers. The black drum eat them like grapes. Make sure to hook in the head to leave the tail showing.

I wanted to let the north coasters know that Garden city is where they are at. I collect them with the sand flea rake and add sand. Don’t wash just freeze. The reason for the post is they are doing a sand beach refurbishment this week. It will be tough to get them this season for the fall.

(I got a new anchor this year for Christmas. Now able to get crazy close to the rocks after a can of nerve tonic.)

Are they only refurbing Garden City? How about Surfside? They just did Surfside last year.
I’m headed back down in a couple of weeks so just curious.

They are only doing a partial emergency dredge. We went down past access 11 South and they were stopping near there. Also the Garden City rocks producing well-with out the dang sharks. They are not as big but still a good fight. North north AM early.
