Took the big boat out Saturday to have some fun on the water. Started in harbor and had bluefish and small seabass so I moved up the Wando into a small creek at the start of incoming tide. I quickly got the boat stuck in the mud in a small creek but that was fine because the tide was coming in and big redfish were all around the boat. Nothing but trash fish wanted the mud minnows but the redfish like two fiddlers on a circle hook on a carolina rig. They love those crabs.
Harbor was smooth as silk in the afternoon and I was able to run back in at 55+.
Awesome day and I’m heading out in a few hours to troll and dive on sunday so look for that in the offshore reports Monday.
