Anybody else heard anything about a potentially new SC record crappie being caught on Santee? A friend told me one was caught last week on one of the Santee Cooper lakes.

False, false, false. Saw a picture on Facebook that a buddy of mine showed me. I googled it and the same picture came up from a crappie fishing forum from February 2012. Its just a hoax.
