Flat calm ocean and a great crew. Headed south to some deep shipwrecks but the current was pretty tough. Christin caught a big kingfish first drop with a butterfly jig. How she hooked it in the forehead and landed it on Mono Leader i have no idea but it worked. The other lady angler onboard showed the guys how its done also hauling up Grouper, red snapper and triggers left and right.
Came in a bit and dove a ledge in 160. Popped a good size gag in that crazy current but it was tough diving! Full cooler and a easy ride home. Saw some leatherback turtles in the weedlines on the way back in. What a day!
The pics of the fish seem to be a little bit blurry can you get some better angles next time we prefer that you have the Sun at your back for the pictures in the future it can work wonders
