I didn’t weigh him/her or measure …I was trying not to keep him/her out of the water any longer than needed. Lets just say my arms were killing me just to pose for the pic, not to mention that it folded my biggest dip net in half when we tried to bring it in the boat. I haven’t seen any pics on here this big . But I would say it was in over the 40 lb and over 40 " range. we actually caught one a week earlier but it broke the leader. I was actually shark fishing when I caught this one. I had live bait and a 3’ stainless steel leader on the line. I think I would have lost it otherwise…
