Was able to get out today for a few hours. Was going out of Fripp to the Fripp Tire Reef. About a mile outside of the inlet I saw some gannets diving. Dropped a whole finger mullet and was hooked up immediately. Repeated this until I had caught and released 8. Average size was 38", largest 40". My luck was not good in 2015, but 2016 has started off well. The fish were stacked up on the bottom.
