That’s one hell of a first day of fishing. 117/120 boats with lines in today. Awesome.
Do not tell fish stories where the people know you; but particularly, don’t tell them where they know the fish.

The boat Inspiration is on the way to the hill with a Blue.
Boats N Hoes
They said Inspiration was due in around 1330 but still no word. Any idea of what’s going on? I can’t get the live audio to work properly today.
Inspiration is owned and Captained by Big Rock Tournament president Casey Wagner. Their fish weighed 437.7 lbs. The fleet released 9 blues,8 whites, 1 sailfish and a hatchet marlin today…

FlyBuoy held on to win Big Rock. Congrats
Did he miss out on the 250k even though he had the largest fish and won the tournament?

I just want 1 dollar more than I can spend!
Yep. That level only pays for 1st 500 lb. or greater fish. No boat caught a 500 lb. fish this year so those entry fees will be returned to the boats that entered.

That was an expensive gaff shot on that big girl.
Major congrats to Todd and the crew! Great people, Todd showed me how to offshore fish many many years ago and it is always awesome to see our Charleston fleet do so well at Big Rock! Well Done Fly Bouy!! Guess I did not mess up spooling his reels!

The Big Rock is such a cool tournament. How about Accordingly III winning $80,000 with a 39 lb Dolphin in the “Winner Take All” level? And in the release division, the boat “Release” won the division releasing
3 Blue Marlin and 4 Whites in 4 days of fishing. It was their second consecutive year winning the release division in the Big Rock.

Way to go Todd! Couldn’t happen to a nicer guy. Congrats to the entire crew of the Flybuoy!
